ContributorsRecorded and donated by Tom King. Carlton Haney and Ralph Rinzler (Bill Monroe's manager) organized this festival, the first 'Bluegrass Festival', at Cantrell's Horse Farm. Carton Haney also served as the emcee for the festival and put together 'the Story of Bluegrass' revolving around Bill Monroe's career. Most of the musicians invited to the festival were Bill's Bluegrass Boys at some period.
