Most searches in the Digital Library of Appalachia database display the search results on a basic results page, consisting of navigation elements and record results. The only exception is the search where no results are found.
The top of each results page is significant for its navigational qualities for new searches (browsing by collection, keyword, and advanced) or to the my favorites tool :

Below this section is information about the number of titles retrieved in red font and the first ten records retrieved. Click on the picture of the record or the record name to open up the individual record.
There are four types of page views for
the results list. The default page view is the grid view. You can
choose between them by clicking on the buttons above the results list.

In the lowest right corner, you can find a complete list of page numbers as well as previous and back buttons. You may scroll through the entire results list in 10-record pages.

Clicking on the next page button will take you to page 2.
Clicking on the number 6 link will take you to page 6.
Clicking on the > link will take you to page 11 (and display links to pgs. 11 - 20).
In the lower left corner is the button for selecting my favorites from the results list.
Once you have clicked on a specific record or title, you are taken to
one record.
