Because our database is quite large, your results list may be too long for you to handle all the information.  You may quickly narrow your search by using the "keyword search" across all collections shown in the top right corner of the front page.  Enter as many words as you want:

Simply typing fiddle may return too many results.
Include
another possible quality to retrieve such as
 title words (circle unbroken) or a place name (West Virginia)
or an author/performer's name (Rodgers).

 

Another way to target your results is located in advanced search, where you may select multiple fields using preferences, to clearly identify important phrases and how ideas are related to each other:

Finally, when you've found a really good record, click on the hyperlinks embedded in one record to link to other records that contain the same concepts:
